With the girls in ski school they are progressing very well, they are managing to link some parallel turns together and the teacher mentioned they will be tired tonight as they skied Sundance, a blue run, which the parents had only just skied, so the parents were very impressed with this news. Blayne has been boarding some black runs and hard blues, and ran into the parents often during his lessons!
The parents got brave today and skied many runs, we tackled 4 black runs, and felt they weren't too bad! We even found the ricebowl run! And skied it too!
We discovered the girls ski teacher lives next door, and very chatting in the morning when she offered to babysit if we ever needed one! So we took that offer up tonight! The kids taught Kelsey how to play phase 10, with Blayne winning.
The adults enjoyed a night together without the children and visited the Powder Hounds restaurant, we highly recommend it to anyone visiting SunPeaks. After tea we visited a bar for our liquid dessert, had to make the most out of the babysitter, it will be the only night we get!
