Today is Blayne's 11th Birthday, he had a great day of snowboarding with Ski School, we gave him a challenge of boarding at least 11 different runs, he made it easily with over 20 being recorded. We had a little surprise party for afternoon tea, with a red velvet birthday cake.
We then all went night skiing, which was a first for us all!
Blayne then chose a steakhouse for tea, which we had to catch the gondola for!
The adults made the most of the last day skiing kids free by skiing hard, the sun gods were on our side and shone, which improves the visibility tenfold. With the sun shining we decided to ski from the summit, we took the blue run! But still a great achievement, with great views of the village and beyond!
We all feel we pushed ourselves today, in some cases we also skied areas way above our capabilities, we really used the skills learnt in our 3 hour lesson on Tuesday, where we learnt to ski in powder, which was new to us, it is normally a lot wetter back home! All in all a great day for everyone!
